    2011: Competed in two races during the season … ran a time of 29:06.2 at the OAC Championship on Oct. 29 … finished in 30:08.4 at the Inter Regional at Oberlin on Oct. 15

    2010 (Sophomore): Was a mainstay among Capital’s top finishers…Started season by running a 32:31 at the GLCA Championships (9/11)…Dropped his time a minute by running a 31:31 at the Friendship Invitational (9/18)…Finished third on the team with his time of 30:25 at the Otterbein Invitational (9/25)…Recorded his best job of the season with his time of 29:02 at the Wilmington Classic (10/15)…Finished 105th in the conference with his time of 30:14 at the OAC Championships.

    2009 (Freshman): Finished 232nd in the region by running a 32:06 at the Great Lakes Regional Championships…Was CU’s fourth fastest runner with time of 29:45 at the OAC Championships…Broke the 30-minute barrier by running a 29:55 at the Wilmington Invitational…Finished 22nd overall in first career meet at the Wittenberg Invitational.

    Prep: Earned three letters in volleyball and one apiece in track and cross country.

    Personal: Majoring in Communication and Criminology…Mother is Linda Herbert…attended Kenston High School where he ran cross country and track…Benjamin’s favorite movie is V for Vendetta.
