The Ohio Humanities Council has chosen Bexley as one of five communities to host Ohio Chautauqua 2013: When Ohio Was the Western Frontier. Capital University will host the signature red-and-white tent on the Capital Green, located on Main Street just west of Memorial Gateway on the Bexley campus, July 16-20.
Take a step back in time and come face to face with history when Johnny Appleseed and other important figures from Ohio’s early history descend on Bexley for an exciting mix of education and entertainment, including daily interactive workshops for children and adults at different venues throughout Bexley, and musical performances and living history presentations each evening under the tent. All events are free and open to the public. Read more.
