The Athletics Hall of Fame provides public recognition and honors women and men who were members of Capital University intercollegiate athletic squads — athletes or coaches — whose accomplishments were outstanding over a significant period of time.
The Hugo C. Wenzel Award publicly recognizes Capital University alumni and friends who support athletics with time, talent or resources, or graduates who have achieved success and recognition in the field of coaching and physical education/athletics. The Crusader Distinguished Service Award publicly recognizes those who support athletics, but who don’t qualify for the Hall of Fame.
