    2011: Finished with a career-best time of 31:23.1 at the OAC Championship on Oct. 29 … ran a 31:34.0 at the season-opening GLCA Championship (Sept. 10)

    2010 (Freshman): Ran a 33:26 in first collegiate race at GLCA Championships (9/11)…Improved his time by 75 seconds two weeks later at the Otterbein Classic by running a 32:02 while scoring points as Capital’s fifth man…Was fourth on the squad the following meet at the All-Ohio Championships (10/1) by placing 126th among Ohio Division III runners with his time of 31:33…Scored points for the Crusaders for the third consecutive meet at the Wilmington Classic (10/15) with his time of 31:44…Was Capital’s fifth man again with his time of 31:39 at the OAC Championships (10/30).

    Prep: Competed in indoor and outdoor track.

    Personal: Majoring in Accounting and Financial Economics with a minor in Mathematics…Erik is a Resident’s Assistant, Head of College Against Cancer/Relay for Life, Treasury and Appropriations Committee of Student Government, Treasure of Lutheran Student Movement … Parents are Marlin Morris and Naomi Horchak-Morris…attended Sycamore High School where he ran indoor and outdoor track…Erik’s favorite musician is Bon Jovi.
