Professor Tianshu Wang to Perform at Carnegie Hall
Dr. Tianshu Wang, Professor of Piano at the Conservatory of Music, is scheduled to perform a solo recital at Carnegie Hall in New York, November 12, 2016, at 2 pm.The Carnegie Hall is known as one of the most prestigious performance venues in the world. Dr. Wang will present her program in two categories: standard repertoire featuring composers of Mozart, Chopin, and Liszt, and compositions with Chinese elements including the world premier of "Four Folk Rhymes" by Dunnan Liu. Ticketing information can be found here.Steinway Artist Tianshu Wang joined the faculty at Capital University in 2002. Her piano studio includes many outstanding students. A recipient of the Praestantia Award for Excellence in Teaching, she is currently head of the Keyboard Area at the Conservatory of Music.
