Delta Phi Epsilon and Phi Sigma Sigma sororities will present BeYOUtiful Week to support the National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). Events began Monday, November 12, and continue through Saturday, November 17.

Thursday was the ANAD Twist-a-Thon in the multipurpose room in The Capital Center. Students competed in a double elimination tournament.

Friday, a vigil was held from 11 am to 2:30 pm at Reflections fountains on the plaza. The during the candlelight vigil, the Capital community heard testimonials about the effects of eating disorders and there will be a pledge of support.

Saturday, November 17, will be the male pageant for the Deepher Dude competition at 2:30 pm in the Mezz. Contestants will wear costumes and perform talents in the hopes of becoming a sweetheart for the sorority. Throughout the week and until the end of the show, donations will be collected for each contestant. The candidate that receives the most money will have points calculated into his overall score for the competition. All proceeds will be donated to ANAD.

Admission for the show is free for students wearing ANAD bracelets and $1 for those without a bracelet. Bracelets can be purchased in the PO Lobby of the Campus Center throughout the week. The entire Capital community is invited to attend.
