On Saturday, May 4, the Office of Conference Services needs your help to make Capital University’s 2013 Commencement a memorable event for our graduates and their families. We are looking for volunteers to serve in a variety of roles, including distributing programs, greeting guests, ushering guests and assisting with the after-graduation Memorial Gateway ceremony.
Commencement will take place at 2 pm in The Capital Center Field House. Doors will open to guests at 12:30. We ask that all volunteers report to The Capital Center’s Moe Lounge, located on the second floor, no later than 11:30 am for a short briefing. As a thank you for your time and efforts, a continental breakfast will be provided in Moe Lounge at 11 am, and each volunteer will receive a special gift for their efforts.
Volunteering at Commencement is a great way for faculty and staff to say farewell to the students they have watched grow over the past four years, and a way for students to see their fellow classmates become Capital alumni.
If you would like to be a part of this exciting and memorable occasion, please e-mail or call Era McMahon, director of Conference Services, at firstname.lastname@example.org
or 614-236-6403 as soon as possible.
