Church Historian, Author David L. Holmes To Discuss 'The Faiths of the Postwar Presidents: From Truman to Obama'

Church historian and noted author Dr. David L. Holmes, professor emeritus at William and Mary College, will discuss his recent book, The Faiths of the Postwar Presidents: From Truman to Obama, at a free lecture at 7 pm Monday, September 23, in Huntington Recital Hall.

A panel discussion featuring faculty members from Capital University and Bexley Hall and Trinity Lutheran seminaries will follow. Participants include Dr. Thomas Ferguson, dean of Bexley Hall Seminary; Dr. Suzanne Marilley, associate professor of political science at Capital University; and Dr. Donald L. Huber, professor emeritus of Trinity Lutheran Seminary.

The lecture is presented by the Religion and Philosophy Department at Capital University and Bexley Hall-Seabury Western Seminary.
