All entering traditional undergraduate students must be current on their immunizations. A health history and immunization form is part of your admissions package.
All documentation must be signed by a health care provider and submitted to the Campus Health Center prior to starting classes.

Chickenpox
Nursing students are required to verify their immunity status through physician's office records or a varicella titer prior to entering their first nursing course.
Hepatitis B
Is required for nursing students to go into the clinical areas and is recommended for all Capital students.

MMR
You must have a record of 2 measles, mumps and rubella injections.
Meningitis (Meningococcal Disease)

PPD
You must have had a test for tuberculosis within the year before entering Capital
Note: nursing students must get a PPD every year in order to go into the clinical areas
Polio
You must have documentation of completing the primary polio series.
Tetanus
You must have had a tetanus booster within the last 10 years.
