Welcome to the Capital University Tuba Studio! Members of the studio are offered many opportunities to enhance and present their performance skills. Apart from the standard weekly lessons and required participation in the university's major ensembles, all students are expected to perform in brass quintets, tuba/euphonium quartets, brass choir, and Capital Thunder, the tuba/euphonium choir. In addition to weekly student recitals, there are regularly scheduled master classes where students can perform for and receive feedback from their peers. There is also a weekly warm-up class where students can work on their fundamental skills together. On this page you will find a sampling of our morning warm-up routines. Feel free to download them for your own use. At The Conservatory of Music at Capital University, we are committed to offering the highest level of musical training and performance opportunities to all of our students. We hope that you will consider becoming part of our wonderful music making! Please email Tony Zilincik, the tuba professor, if you have any questions.
