      Capital University has announced tuition, room and board rates for the 2018-2019 academic year.

      Total cost of attendance for undergraduate students, including tuition, fees, room and board, will increase by 2.8 percent. Tuition and fees will increase by 2.5 percent, and room and board will be raised by 4 percent. This is below the national average among private, nonprofit four-year institutions (3.5 percent) and public, nonprofit four-year institutions (3.1 percent), according to The College Board’s latest report on Trends in College Pricing.

      Tuition for graduate programs and bachelor’s degree completion programs, which is based on cost per credit hour, will increase anywhere from $6 to $31 per credit hour depending on the program. Capital offers graduate degrees in business, law, nursing, education, music, divinity, ministry and theology.

      Illustrating its continued commitment to helping students and families afford a Capital education, the university invests about $49.5 million annually in university-funded financial aid. The bulk of that aid supports traditional undergraduate students, 100 percent of whom receive some type of scholarship or grant.
